AFTERLIFE RESOURCES-1 (Some of the best we have found...alphabetically)
1. Afterlife 101 (PDF document), www.afterlife101.com, 2002, 156 pages.
This document, which may be obtained in PDF format, was prepared by spirit guides, speaking through a medium. The document describes itself as a high quality and challenging look at the circle of spiritual evolution – death, life in the spirit world, reincarnation, life on Earth, and death again. It is highly technical and probably one of the most comprehensive afterlife references available. An Afterlife 102 resource has also been added. That resource includes additional information on a range of spiritual subjects and research. Fantastic work.
2. Bhavnagri (Khorshed), The Laws of the Spirit World, Jaico Publishing House, 2009, 342 pages.
This is another excellent book about spiritual wisdom and knowledge, channeled by the author using automatic writing guided by her two deceased sons.
Bhavnagri’s book makes the point that all humans have flaws. Thus we need to analyze and accept our flaws and then eradicate these flaws by taking action to change. Spirituality is a slow but steady climb.
The Laws of the Spirit World contains excellent information about how we should live our lives here on Earth and why. There is also a great discussion about how the subconscious mind is the real you. When you are dreaming, your subconscious mind is able to meet with your loved ones in spirit, e.g. on the astral plane (an “in between” locale), and then use the advice obtained to remain calm and provide guidance to your conscious mind. In a manner of speaking, you can even bring your conscious mind along for the ride through an OOBE.
The spirit world has its own laws which include The Law of Free Will, The Law of Karma and The Law of Attraction. These laws also affect us on Earth.
Perhaps the greatest message in The Laws of the Spirit World is that love transcends death as our loved ones continue on after they die and look after us from the spirit world. This book is a must read for anyone seriously interested in understanding how the afterlife realms are organized and what happens after we die. Engaging.
3. Botkin (Dr. Allan L.), Induced After Death Communication, Hampton Roads Publishing, 2005 and 2014, 230 pages.
Dr. Botkin wrote this book for those people interested in possibly experiencing an Induced After Death Communication (IADC) with a loved one. IADC is a revolutionary therapy for grief and trauma that has helped thousands of people come to terms with their grief by allowing them the experience of private communication with their deceased loved ones. In IADC therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is used, albeit in a non-standard way, as a powerful psychotherapeutic procedure that can be applied only by a licensed psychotherapist with EMDR training. This therapy has been used in many combat-veteran cases. Dr. Bodkin leaves it up to the experiencer to interpret whether or not the IADC was an actual afterlife communication experience. Thought provoking.
